From the port of Rawson, you can enjoy a unique nautical excursion: watching Patagonian dolphins, locally known as toninas overas. They are one of the most charismatic species in the region, well known for their playful behavior and agility.
The experience is safe and suitable for all ages. The excursion takes place aboard a semi-rigid boat for up to 44 passengers, equipped with all required safety measures. The crew includes a captain, a guide specialized in marine wildlife, and bilingual staff (Spanish / English).
Excursion itinerary
The tour begins at the mouth of the Chubut River, where visitors can observe a colony of sea lions in their natural habitat.
The boat then heads into the open sea in search of Patagonian dolphins.
These small and fast marine mammals usually swim in groups, jump alongside the boat, and create an unforgettable natural spectacle.
During the excursion it is also possible to observe different seabirds and marine wildlife such as oystercatchers, cormorants, skimmers, terns, ducks, geese, herons, and other native species.
