Doradillo Experience – Coastal Trekking at Playa El Doradillo
Come and enjoy a unique experience in one of the most impressive corners of coastal Patagonia: Playa El Doradillo, a protected natural area located just a few kilometers from Puerto Madryn. Here, the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean and the calm of the Patagonian steppe come together, creating the perfect setting to connect with nature.
The activity begins at the previously agreed time at Bajada 1, Playa El Doradillo, the starting point of the guided walk.
Excursion itinerary
During the hike, you will follow trails that cross cliffs, pebble beaches, and areas of native vegetation, always surrounded by the coastal landscape.
During the season, there is a chance to spot southern right whales from the shore, just a few meters from the coastline, in one of the few places in the world where whale watching can take place without boarding a boat.
Beyond its wildlife, Playa El Doradillo offers a complete sensory experience: silence, wind, sea air, and earth, inviting visitors to walk at nature’s pace and enjoy the peacefulness of the surroundings.
At the end of the round-trip walk, you return to the meeting point to share a regional snack platter with wine or a non-alcoholic beverage, or alternatively a traditional Welsh tea with tea, black cake, scones, and pasta frola.
